Taught by a U.S. Army combat infantry veteran and NRA Certified Range Safety Officer, this course covers what every responsible gun owner should know before going any further.
What You’ll Learn
The fundamental rules of firearm safety
The main types of firearms: handguns, rifles, and shotguns
How firearms and ammunition work
Basic parts, operation, and function
Safe loading, unloading, and handling
Range etiquette and range commands
Safe storage at home, especially around children
Choosing the right firearm for your needs
Supervised introductory live fire
Who It’s For
Complete beginners, first-time gun buyers, spouses and family members of gun owners, and anyone who wants to feel safe and confident around firearms. No experience required.

Price: $250 per student
Duration: 2 hours
Location: OK Corral Gun Club, 9449 NE 48th St, Okeechobee, FL 34972
Format: Small-group or one-on-one instruction
Includes: [Range fee, targets, eye and ear protection, use of training firearms, etc.]
What to Bring: Closed-toe shoes, a high-neck shirt, and your own firearm if you have one (unloaded and cased)
